Vacation!

Exciting, isn't it? Until you discover you're staying home while the 'rents and the brat are taking off. I guess I'll be throwing a couple of wild partays while they are gone. Who's in??

Happy Birthday, Martha!

Martha's Mom here....for the past three years, I have written a tribute to my lovely dogter on her birthday. This year, however, I have been lax, trying to find my way in juggling time with a new baby, husband, work and dog responsibilities...blah, blah, blah. I think I am extraordinarily lucky and blessed that all of our dogs are so wonderful, but Martha is certainly the icing on the cake. The last few months have been a big change for all of us, but Martha has met the challenge and proven time and time again how special she is and how lucky her Dad and I are. I tear up thinking how lucky Seamus will be to grow up with my sweet Martha, always watching over him and making sure we're taking proper care of him.

So, Martha, on your fourth birthday, I send you lots of love and gratitude for being the best dogter a mother could wish for.
